I spent 8 days non-stop, drawing Her on my sketchbook and immersing myself within the world of Dolly as I created this… I felt very called to do so. As a southern-raised dreamer myself, Dolly Parton was our generations honorary grandmother and fairy godmother. Her passing has made me deeply reflect on my life and I am inspired to live as open-hearted, authentically, bravely and FULLY as I possibly can.
I had about 3 beautiful and powerful synchronicities with the creation of this piece and her crossing over… feel like Dolly’s spirit was with me. Is with us all.
