Hi, I'm Alexis Rakun — artist, author, and devoted student of the soul. Welcome to my little corner of the universe.
My path here wasn't exactly a straight line. I started out studying psychology, fascinated by the inner world — the hidden landscapes of the human mind and heart. But somewhere along the way, I realized that the deepest impact I could offer wasn't going to come from a textbook. It was going to come through creation... and spiritual psychology.
So I left the degree behind and followed the pull of something bigger. I picked up my artist tools of mass creation, leaned into the mystery, and never looked back.
The Art & Its Meaning
My work is rooted in Soul — in archetypes, the "wild woman" feminine, the limitless power within us, the unseen forces that shape our lives. I create art that speaks to the part of you that already knows all this. The part that recognizes the truth of the magic that exists within us, and all around us. And how we can harmonize ourselves with it.
Published Works
My love of storytelling, psychology and symbolism has also found its way into the written word. I'm a published artist & author with Rockpool Publishing — an incredible home for products that explore the mystical, the meaningful, and the magical. I adore my publisher.
My creations are "tools of transformation" and they carry the same energy as my art: an invitation to go deeper, to trust yourself, and to remember that you are far more powerful than you've been told.
