🍄🪞🌿 I don't know what it is, but something about the symbology of a moth makes me emotional. A nocturnal creature of the darkness, in search for light, for truth, for hope, for life. Who sometimes gets mislead by false light and false truths. That can lead it to perish. "Like a moth to a flame" But nevertheless, this creature is persistent, mysterious and born to the survive the night. Guiding itself by the light of the moon.

That just resonates so deeply with me. And damn have I had some dark nights. And damn have I clung to some false lights - out of desperation. I don't blame myself. I did what I needed to survive them. There's something so beautiful and heartaching about this creature. Not sure why it's calling me lately, but I think it has something to do with acknowledging the darkness that I've been through. The darkness that has made me. That alchemized me into who I am.

So with that being said. I am not the sunshine butterfly that I want to be. I'm in my moth era. Making friends with the darkness.
